Viva Ma'ambo! Who is the dude smoking in the background? This entire thing seems like a really bad reality show. Actually, the last 8 years seems that way...By the way, since I started typing this 1 min ago, the people chatting on MSNBC have mentioned that McCain was a POW at 7...er 9 times.

You have to click each word for another link to discover many facets of Palin.... just FYI.

I planned to do a HUGE post but I got too busy. I will tomorrow.

McPOW I mean MCLAME is going to use POW like Rudy uses 911. AD NAUSEUM.

Sadly, I don't think it's going to help him out of the huge mess he's now in.

Wouldn't most guys? She's good looking.

I mean guys w/out an aesthetic which would be neocon/rethugs/etc.

The combo was just too funny.. that suit and shotgut. HOly shit. I can't stop laughing!!!!

I love the photoshopped picture!

Our little Sarah has never looked so good! You know in a scary way.

HelenWheels Tuesday, September 02, 2008 10:43:00 PM

Gryphen: I don't think it was photoshopped!!

I'm serious...

I'll just BET you can't, Von Monkerstein. Would it fit into your vintage collection somehow? It's soooo 70's/tina fey...

Not photoshopped? Then it should be circulated around the Internets.

Now, all kidding aside, she looks pretty good for a mom of 5 kids, er, or is it 4?

The RNC is as lame as I figured it would be. More "911, 911, 911......", "POW, POW, POW........". Their fake leader couldn't even show up in person. Darth Cheney is over in Georgia (the country) preparing to stir up some more trouble.

Fred Thompson is a fucking embarassment. That guy is one of the worst bumbling idiots I've seen behind a microphone in some time.

Palin is a train wreck. George W. McCain has really fucked up. Even the comment sections on the MSCCM sites are skewering her as the MSCCM itself are trying like hell to paint her as credible.

Astonishing.

Independent, I think it is making its way around the internets tubes. I got it from Mark Crispin Miller's blog. I don't know if it is photoshopped but if so it is a really good job indeed! Yeah if that's really her she does look good.

Yeah I figure that's all the rethugs have is POW POW POW 911 911 911 and now I just read that Palin's church prays to god for oil pipelines... it's so insane.

I saw about 15 seconds of Fred Thompson's abysmal speech - as soon as he claimed that the GOP was at least allowing a woman on the ticket - I had to turn the channel. Their galling hypocrisy when it comes to women is so stunningly embarassing to them that when they see the reaction smart women have, they're going to realize their mistake and then some.

The bottom line is that the Palin selection was a major political fuck-up and I would not be surprised if she's gone by next week.

Oh I almost -- but not quite -- felt bad for Pawlenty when they interviewed him & asked him what he thought of Palin and obviously had to choke down his bile & make nice. Can you imagine what all those super-qualified politicians who got passed over for a bible-thumping Armageddon queen must be thinking? Holy crap. The GOP is imploding.

Something's gotta give!

Helen-

Indeed. In terms of train derailments, Palin is a 39 car pileup with hazardous chemicals on board. Pawlenty must have been seething underneath.

As for her being gone by next week, I don't think Goerge W. McCain can afford to do that. Changing horses that late in the game (2 mos left), would paint him and his team as the unstable, bumbling idiots they really are.

Obama could run with that the rest of the way.

HelenWheels Wednesday, September 03, 2008 10:15:00 AM

Wow. They are really in a quandary either way.

One has to wonder what the folks that still think McLAME is the McLAME of 2000 will think when the MSM starts reporting Ms. Armageddon's extreme right-wing beliefs and platforms, and the fact she was once a member of the Alaska Independence Party (Alaska FIRST!). Most of McLAME voters consider him somewhat moderate/conservative. But not for long. It's gonna be quite the rude awakening.

As lousy as the MSM is, starting on Monday, we have a new voice in addition to Keith Olbermann in the form of the wonderful Rachel Maddow. I doubt she'll have any trouble reporting Palin's incredible anti-woman platforms and voting record.

Crooks & Liars reported today that McLAME only vetted her for 1 day and someone leaked that she did NOT offer the information that her daughter is pregnant. Uh, oh!

McLAME had 3 months to vet a VP and that's what he chooses to do? This is an incredible disaster for the GOP.

Independent Wednesday, September 03, 2008 10:39:00 AM

It really makes me wonder what their overall plan is. With their trickery and treachery, one has to wonder if this isn't part of a bigger plan. Then again, it could be a fuck up of monumental proportions- worse than Mr. Potatoe-head himself, Dan Quayle.

She is pretty hot, though. The kind of experienced woman I used to dream about as an adolescent....but I've hated hot women in the past, and I can hate her, too.

About "Just Ain't Right"

Starting in 2005 as a means to rant about things that piss me off, it quickly turned more political than anything else. If I can encourage even one person to start paying attention (who already isn't) then it will have not been in vain.
